First Draft

One Pizza Please - Screenplay

Phone is ringing, a man answers the phone.

MAN
KRAK's pizza, good morning, What can I do for you?

A man with heavy, rough voice speaks from other side.
He is Mike.

MIKE
One pizza please...

MAN AT PIZZA SHOP
Sure, sir, can I note down your address?

We hear some voice from Mike.

MAN AT PIZZA SHOP
I have taken your address details,
Your pizza will be delivered in 29 minutes.
Thanks for calling KRAK's Pizza.



EXT. ROAD THROUGH DESERT.



A Pizza delivery boy is goes through desert on his bike.
He is Peter. We see his badge with his name "Peter Barker" on it.



EXT. MIKE'S HOME


Peter stops at a house in mid-desert.
He steps down from his bike and moves toward the front door.


There is a lawn in front of the house, in which the Peter sees a dog-house, where "T-Rex" is written on top of it.

The Peter slowly moves towards the house through lawn.

We see Mike sitting in front varandah at the house. He is sitting in relaxing chair, he looks asleep.

There is a table in front of him, and a telephone and a directory on top of the table.

As Peter walks towards the house, a skinny dog comes out of the house and barks at him.
Peter becomes horrified by it. That dog is T-Rex.

Mike suddenly wakes up by hearing barking.

He orders the dog to go out, which the dog follows immediately.

Then Mike stands up and moves towards Peter, who is still startled by the dog's behaviour.

Peter gives the pizza to Mike, who takes it and goes inside house.

Peter standing outside house looks around. He sees an axe in a corner and feel suspicious about it.
Then he sees a rope hanging on top of window.
He turns around and faces a gun placed in another corner and nearly screams.

Now horrified by seeing all these thing, Peter moves backwards and touches the table, which becomes unstable.
He turns around and adjusts the table. Suddenly the directory on top of table catches his attention.

He finds names of various Pizza houses written and stricken out in the directory.
At the end of the list there is "KRAK's Pizza" written there.

Suddenly the door bursts open behind him.
Peter turns around and find Mike standing in the door with a knife in his hand.

Mike slowly walks towards him. Peter wants to run away but can't move his eyes away from Mike.
Mike, still slowly moving towards Peter raises his hand with knife, like he is going to cut Peter.

Peter screams and closes his eye.
But nothing happens. We see Peter standing, shivering with his eyes closed.

Then after few seconds, he opens his eyes and finds Mike standing, starring at him with money in his hands.

Peter takes money and runs out of house.
He starts his bike and rides away.

We see camera slowly zooming on Mike's face, and a evil grin comes on his face.


EXT. ROAD THROUGH DESERT.


The Boy is driving his bike as fast as he can to the way back to pizza center.

Then the pizza carry box attached to the back seat of the bike opens and one hand comes out.

Then slowly the dog(T-Rex) comes out of the box. As T-Rex tries to get on top of box, bike stumbles upon a rock.
T-Rex loses balance but he grabs the belt from inside the box. The belt is used to fasten pizza packages.
He is holding the belt by one hand and in other hand a jar is there.

T-Rex is hanging holding the belt.
Then he tries to slowly climb on the box again by moving through belt.

And finally he reaches on top of the box.

Now assured that he is balanced on top of box, T-rex opens the jar in his hand.
There are some ants in the jar, which are having teath like piranhas.

Now T-rex throws those ants from the jar to the Peter's shirt.
Peter is still unaware of this activity going on his back.

The ants starts moving slowly on Peter's back.
And goes inside his collar.

T-rex now aware of what is going to happen, holds the belt tightly.

After 2 seconds,
Peters screams LOUD, his face turns horrific.

He steps on brack with his all energy and bike stops with a halt.
T-rex, though holding the belt tightly, swings around with bike and due to thrust loses his grip on the belt.

T-rex becomes thrown away to a cactus.
and when he removes himself from cactus, the bike comes after and smashes him again.

Peter is still screaming.

T-rex comes out from between of bike and cactus and moves towards Peter.

Peter, who is scratching his whole body like crazy and running here and there while screaming, steps few times on T-rex. Peter is completely unaware of the dog below his feet because he is occupied with the thing going inside his cloths.

Now finally Peter removes his cloths and starts scratching his back on a cactus, which gives him some relief.

T-rex recovering from the injuries he is having is looking at Peter.



EXT. MIKE'S HOME



T-rex puts the Peter's cloths on Mike's table.

Mike looks at T-rex, T-rex looks back at Mike.

Mike smiles, T-rex smiles back.

Mike pats T-rex and gives a quarter of pizza.

Mike takes the cloths and goes inside the house.

T-rex hugs his pizza.

Mike stands in front of mirror and lifts Peter's cloths to see how they look on him.
But as he lifts it, Mike finds that the shirt and pant are ripped of. There is so much dust and scratches on them.
so the cloths are not at all wearable for Mike.

Feeling disappointment and anger, Mike throws the cloths to a corner of the room.
We see so many shirts and pants from other pizza houses, which are as dirty and teared as Peter's.

Mike looks at T-rex, who is hugging and kissing his pizza.

As T-rex opens his mouth to have a bite of it, Mike punches him.
Then Mike takes a stick in his hands and starts beating T-rex.

The pizza in his hand fells down.


EXT. MIKE'S HOME


Mike lifts the receiver, dials a number.
Someone answers his call,

Mike says : " One Pizza Please... "

About

Initially started as a piece of short for my first demo reel, around 1 year ago.
Which was left unfinished at the story stage.

But now, it started again.

so here we go,
